Vancouver...part 1

In May, we decided to follow Dan and Sarah to Vancouver for a little visit. They had been planning this trip for a while and about 2 weeks before they were going, we decided to join in. It was so much fun and we had great weather. We broke up our drive by going to Vale first then heading the rest of the way the next day. It's nice to be able to break up the 15 hr drive. We had so many pictures, I had a really hard time choosing which ones to blog. Looks like I chose most of them, but I really didn't!

Nothing like eating lunch watching a movie on the Ipad!

We went to Science World first........not only for kids!!!!!

You can't really tell, but they are standing in front of a wind machine!

Molly and Annie

The balls and water were a highlight

James was thirsty I suppose

Annie, Molly and Leah

Scary

This seat allowed you to pull like a third of your weight.

Skinny Molly still had a hard time.....:)

Leah decided to help Annie

Not sure what was so scary :-)

Again, not only for kids!

Then we headed to Granville Island. Lots of little shops and a market place. The kids had lots of fun in this store trying on all of the hats......not sure the store worker liked it very well though!

After grabbing a bite to eat we walked out on the pier

The bushes outside Scott's parents house were GORGEOUS!!!!!! We usually come in the winter and don't get this sight. I just had to take some pictures, and they don't even do it justice!

One day we headed to Old Town Burnaby. A historic town with restored buildings.

The kids.....Leah, Annie, James, Molly and Fos

After walking around, we rewarded the kids with a carousel ride. This too being very historic.

One evening we headed to the beach. It was low tide so the kids got to walk out a long ways. They played, we roasted hot dogs and flew kites. It was a lot of fun! It was a little windy so Nathan and I sat in the van most of the time!

After playing in the water, we headed to this park right on the beach. The kids (and adults) had a blast!

Another adventure was Lynn Canyon hike. First we ate a picnic lunch then found hiking sticks and were on our way......over the suspension bridge and through the woods. All to play in some freezing cold water with gorgeous views! Couldn't get much better than this! It was gorgeous. The last time I was there was when Scott and I were just dating and it was in December......a little different feel!

Crazy faces....Me, Brian and Sarah

Cute Chris and Amy

Not the best picture lighting, but fun. They were on a big rock.

These two look a  little mischievous

Too cute.....James and Fos

Moses' come to visit

Our good friends, Russ and Courtney Moses, and their two girls came to visit us when Nathan was 2 months old. It was so much fun having them. We didn't do a whole lot and I felt bad, but Courtney assured me she was fine with that. We let the kids play and play and Courtney and I were able to catch up. The kids all got a long great and had so much fun together! Finally on their last day, we decided to get pictures taken! Silly us!

Molly and Lindsey (4)

Lindsey, Taylor (almost 2) and Molly

Taylor, Molly and Fos (CHEESE)

This was pretty funny trying to get all 4 to look and smile normal at the camera at the same time.

Courtney and I

Soccer

Molly played soccer again this spring. She improved so much, but still preferred to dance around the soccer field instead of go after the ball! She makes a pretty cute soccer player though! I love taking pictures of this girl.......she knows how to strike a pose!

Newest addition

Hi, remember us.......Guess this is what child number 3 does to me. WOW.....so much to blog! Ready, set, go. Way back in May, we got a new trampoline. We decided our back yard needed to be a little more fun. It was a great bribe for the kids to get them to do extra chores and we used it as leverage A LOT! Finally, we got one and set it up. The kids were out first thing every morning for a while. And of course, when the weather got warmer, we put the sprinkler underneath for more fun!
