Bike Ride

We were playing outside when Scott got home from work today. So, it being so nice still, Scott mentioned bike ride to Molly. Well, as we were walking up the stairs, she starts crying and saying, "bike ride?" We had to explain to her that Scott had to change his clothes first, then yes, we would be going on our "bike ride". We are really glad she enjoys riding in that little trailer.

"where's my date?"

I guess it'll be a new tradtion for us. New Spring Dresses to wear starting Easter Sunday. Scott even picked this one out. We were glad she finally cooperated with wearing her hat and purse.
"cheese" or "cheesie"

Notice the flare of the dress upon twirling. I think she enjoys being a girl. Amy and Mary, she could hang out with you on your girly weekends!

Hats off to our Little Princess.

March Madness Update

Ok. After the first weekend of intense March Madness action, here's how the competition stacks up. Molly is pretty much out of the running since she picked Clemson to go all the way and they lost in the first round. She did however pick Davidson and West Virginia to make the Sweet 16, so perhaps she not doing so bad after all.

Scott: 41 points
Elisha: 34 points
Molly: 32 points

Mess...

It was just a little too quiet in the kitchen, so I decided to check and see how Molly was doing with her yogurt snack. As I rounded the corner, I could hear her saying...mess...mess...mess. Sure enough, she had made a mess! She woke up to a blow out this morning, so this made her second bath of the day...its barely noon.

She didn't want her picture taken...

The Great Easter Egg Hunt

We were invited to an Easter egg hunt this afternoon at the Jones. There were about 15 kids there so it was pandemonium for a while. We had been practicing with Molly all week so she would be ready for the big event. She did very well at home, but kind of froze at the real thing today. All week we would have her hide behind the recliner while Elisha or I hid an egg in the living room. She would wait until we told her to find the egg. She did well, but perhaps we should have trained in a more intimidating environment. She'll be better prepared next year.

We are trying to be better about taking family pictures...so here it is.

The Easter Bunny Came!

The Easter Bunny came early! Molly got two shirts, two purses, a pink hat and a pair of silky pink gloves...maybe later she'll actually let us take a picture of her with all this stuff.

This is Molly's "if-I-act-cute-enough-I-can-get-some-candy" look. It works like a charm and she pretty much gets candy whenever she wants. Molly was pleased to find her basket full of candy!

CRAVING

It was kinda weird, but for some reason, homemade egg noodles, chicken and mashed potatoes sounded really good. It reminded me of my grandma's homemade noodles at Thanksgiving. We wouldn't ever put the noodles on top of the poatoes. However, I would take a homemade roll, put mashed potatoes on it, then maybe take a bite of noodles before taking a bite of the roll and potatoes. I guess in a way, it all was mixed. So, our St. Patrick's Day dinner was catering to a craving I was having.

Loving Sweets

We learned you aren't supposed to reward your child for eating good because it then becomes something they think they can bargain. But, she really did eat so well this night and it was warm out, we decided to give her a little treat. I'm not sure how much got in her, but she was in heaven. She ate it down to pretty much the stick.

New Park Adventure

Yesterday was so nice, we decided to try a new park not too far from home. It was one highly recommended, Westland Park. Molly played for about 2hrs. Next time, we'll pack a lunch. As you can see in most of the pictures, Molly has a new thing; refuses to look at the camera and say cheese or even smile. I suppose she's practicing being a natural model.

From This to That

This was our 8wk ultrasound. You can't even tell what the heck it is. In just 4 weeks.............
...........you get this little thing. Some how, a head, brain, eyes, nose, mouth, hands, fingers, arms, feet, toes and legs all sprout up.

Because of my past history with the placenta maturing too fast, they plan on taking Ultrasounds monthly. I guess that's good for us. We don't mind getting pictures. Just makes the appointments longer.
