Thanksgiving

For Family Home Evening we made Thanksgiving Tee Pee's. Got the idea from my friend and the kids loved it. I think they loved eating the candy mostly! Believe it or not, these are the only Thanksgiving pictures we have. We forgot to take our camera to Las Vegas with us. But hopefully I can snag some pictures from someone in Scott's family!

We really enjoy having Mike here with us. He even gets in on the craft fun!
He made an angry bird and Molly wanted to make one "like Mike's".

Project

Man my husband is quite handy to have around. We started another project before we left for Disneyland. We have been wanting to refinish our table and chairs since we redid our kitchen. Guess it wasn't a huge priority because over a year later, we finally got to it. Nonetheless, it got done. And I love it. Our 2-toned gold/yellow table is now a beautiful brown. I must say I helped more than I thought I would on this. Guess I just wanted a normal table and chairs back in our dining area. We even fed the Missionaries on a skinny little plastic table.

SURPRISE.........

.....we're going to DISNEYLAND!!!
Ever since Scott and I's two mom and dad only trips, we knew we wanted to do something fun for the kids. We took them camping twice (and they would have been content with that) but we wanted to do something more. When Scott told me had two days off the second week in November, I suggested we go to Disneyland. Didn't take much to convince him, so off we were.
The kids knew we were going to drive in the car a long way and stay at a hotel, but they had no idea what we were doing for the "surprise trip". We got ready and told them and it was pretty anticlimactic at first, but then the next 5 minutes they could hardly contain themselves.......it must have needed to sink it!
Our hotel was less than half a mile to the front of Disneyland, so we loaded up the stroller and headed to the park. We had early entry tickets for Thursday morning. And actually, the 3 days of being there, it really was not as crowded as I anticipated. We waited in a few lines, but not many. The longest waits were for the princesses :). It was a great 3 days. The kids did great, I did great ;), and my husband was the best!

One of the favorites was Dumbo ride

On the jungle tour. Molly kept asking, "is that real?, oh wait, no it's not"

My BYU boys

Sleeping Beauty was getting ready to leave, so the only picture we could take of her was with Molly "wishing and hoping"

Tea cups.....I opted out of this ride! Scott wished he would have too :)

Chris and Amy were totally on board (since Chris is from there) to meet us at Disneyland. It was fun having them there and being able to go on 3 some rides

Watching the parade

On the Ferris Wheel........one of the coolest Ferris wheels ever! The box car moved

The longest line of all.........Toy Story

These Toy Story army dudes were cool. We stopped twice to watch them

This is where Foster hid out while Molly was with the princesses

Molly's photography

Foster's new girl friend......

Yup, those are from Snow White's lips

Molly asked to do a crazy face pose

It was a great trip, a great time of year to go and I was with great company!

First snow that stuck

First snow fall of the year that actually stuck. The kids wanted to get their snow gear on and get out in it. It was good to get the snow clothes out and take inventory.......as you can tell, Molly needs new snow pants. I don't think the carpi's will cut it!

Fall

Just trying to get caught up before the holidays. So I can get behind again!
Just a few pictures from playing in the leaves the other day. We had my sister and brother in law's boys over for the day and spent some time outside. They had a lot of fun. Thank you to my neighbor who mowed up the remains after :)
