RENO

OK, now I'm convinced we are REALLY bad at taking pictures!!!!! Scott, 2 of his brothers and 1 brother-in-law had a "guys" weekend with family down in Reno. Dan and Sarah live down there, it's close to Tahoe so what better place to get together. We drove down Thursday night, got in, watched some Olympics then went to bed. The boys got up bright and early and went and golfed 18 holes. After golf, they came home and we ate super yummy crepes Sarah made then went to a water park (no pictures from us). After the water park, back to the house to get ready for date night. We left all the kids, except Nathan, with a babysitter then headed to a yummy Mongolian all you can eat restaurant. After dinner, we took Nathan back to the house and put him to bed then we all went and played mini golf. Side note, Scott and I won ;-)! Came home, watched more Olympics. Saturday the guys got up early, again, and drove up to Tahoe to go mountain biking. Us girls and the kids stayed behind to pack up lunch and come up a little later to play at the beach. We met the boys at the end of their trail then drove to Kings beach and played all day. It was super fun. Just as we were packing up to leave, the wind picked up significantly and everything was blowing everywhere. The kids were screaming because we were all getting sand blasted. It was hilarious because Mike and Dan had their cameras and Go Pros out capturing it all. (Nathan's car seat still has sand in it). We drove back to Dan and Sarah's, grabbed some dinner on the way, then home for baths then more Olympics. Sunday we got up and went to church then headed home. Again, Molly was crying pretty hard. This girl hates to have the fun end. We had so much fun being with family. Thanks so much Dan and Sarah for being great hosts. We'll definitely have to make it an annual trip!!!! We look forward to Christmas!

So, these are the pictures we got from our Reno trip. This is Molly's projects in the car on the way home. She gets a wet wipe, lets it dry then colors on it with markers. Then she puts it on her doll and bear for clothes. She cracks us up with all of her creative projects. I know she doesn't get this creativity from me! It keeps her pretty occupied in the car and I love seeing what she's come up with next!
