Father's Day is Sweet

Little delayed on posting Father's Day, but better late than never. This is the gift Molly got Scott. Can you believe it? She earned her own $$ for it and everything. Anyway, it's a Jig Saw so he can make her a bed before her little brother comes and steals her crib.

More of Hudson's Birthday

The other day when I was posting this, I wanted to post a few more photos, but for some reason it was all jacked up. So, here are a few more.

Birthday boy with the chair we got him. Molly has a pink one that matches. We hope to go camping with them soon so they can use their chairs.

Little bubble fun. The kids, of course loved the bubbles and it was nice to not be in our own home for the soap on the carpet purpose.

Scott was having fun trying to catch pictures of the bubbles I was blowing. We couldn't get any to have both of us in focus.

Hudson's 2nd Birthday

Molly's good little buddy, Hudson, had his 2nd Birthday party on Saturday. It was a safari theme. We had a lot of fun. Good food, great cake, and a really fun game of finding different safari animals.

Molly helped find the lion and obviously didn't want to let go.

Just another hat day

Molly still loves putting things on her head. She was being so silly with this bucket. She has pretty much packed it around all day, wearing it on her head, putting grapes or fruit snacks in it, or just packing toys in it.

Practice

Today we got to babysit friend, Courtney Moses' little 10wk old baby. It was so much fun. Molly loved every minute of it and was right there by my side to help. While I was feeding Lindsay, Molly sat right beside me drinking her own cup. Then when it was time to change her diaper, Molly was right there letting me know where he nose was and her eyes. She would just sit and pretend she was telling her something.......or maybe she was telling her something and only the two of them could understand. She was thrilled to get to hold Lindsay and the second I picked her up, Molly threw herself on the couch and started crying saying she wanted to hold her. It was pretty cute. Lets just hope she is this loving and kind when her little brother comes along.

Devils Head Camping Trip

We went camping this weekend. We were surprised to realize that this was Molly's first camping trip. We went with some friends from our ward who knew of a great spot not far from home. We set up camp around 3:00 pm then went on a hike. Molly finally likes (tolerates) her back pack.

This tower is still in use as a fire lookout. The gentleman working that day was almost as old as the building itself, and was on his 24th summer of manning the post. He was a typical "Forest Service" guy who looked like he could play Santa in his off season.

Molly didn't like the wind too much.

Molly did really well. Here she is exploring our camp site. She loved climbing on the "huge" rocks, and jumping (stepping) off. She also loved her Molly-sized mummy bag and slept well despite the cold. She did end up in our sleeping bag 1/2 way through the night.

Furture Hockey Player! Scott was brain-washing her the other day when they were watching Hockey together. He was teaching her that her favorite sport was , "Hockey"! Pretty cute!Molly likes to sit right in the middle of these things and not allow anyone else to enjoy the toy. She's in for a real treat with #2 coming..............we hope sharing is not a problem.

Birthday Friend

May 24 we went to Payton's 2yr birthday party. This is one of Molly's little buddies. They actually get along really well. Molly being the first child and Payton being the 6th. You can't tell from the photo, but Molly really does love Payton. They are just 3 mo apart. Molly has a long ways to go with the hair growth.

Prince Charming

Looking at Lisa's blog, I can't compare darling pictures, but I can update. I was looking at ours thinking it's been way too long.

I think I mentioned this before, but Molly LOVES being without clothes. She's really started taking a liking to her doll and frog. She packs them around most of the time. A few weeks ago, she was without clothes and carrying this frog around when all of the sudden she started giving big hugs and kisses to it. So, we got out the carmera and encouraged her more, of course. Maybe she really was hoping he'd turn into a handsom prince. Maybe it'll happen in about 25 yrs.

Needless to say, she was pretty cute and I just wanted to post something. These were the most recent photos. Better get out the camera again.......or go on vacation!

New found toy

I came into the kitchen the other day to find this. Molly sitting in a plastic mixing bowl. Of course she wouldn't smile, but she was enjoying herself. There are two bowls, one slightly larger than the other. Of the two, she chose the smaller. I suppose she fit better in it? She's always coming up with new things and causing us to laugh pretty hard.

From This to That Again

For those of you who haven't seen me in a while, just thought I'd post some pregnancy photos. Especially to all those who say I'm not showing much, now I am. No more hiding it. It's amazing to me how much one person can grow in such a short period of time. Some times, it's not that fun looking back on "this" photos. I just hope I can get some of the "this" back some day. It's all worth it though I suppose!

12 weeks along23 weeks along and Mother's Day!

And they say starting from now, the baby doubles in size. What does that mean for me? AHHHHH!!!!!

We headed to Columbus, OH on April 19th. Scott's brother is going to Ohio State and he and his wife invited everyone to their home to have a family reunion there. Little did we know Ohio was so much fun. I had a hard time deciding which pictures to leave out. I might end up making a video too because coming from a family of 6 Nikon cameras, there are so many pictures to choose from. We had a great time there and had awesome company.

This was the first Sunday we were all there. Trying to get 8 kids to look up for a photo is quite the challenge. But aren't they darling and unplanned color coordinated.

Monday was a trip to Berlin, OH to visit the Amish country. After touring Amish homes and stables, we all took a little horse and buggy ride. It was so beautiful there!

There were quite a few attempts at getting all the grandkids together. Again, unplanned color coordinated.

Tuesday, we took a beautiful hike to hocking hills. We hiked all around then ended up at the lower falls where the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves throwing rocks into the water. It was great weather to be hiking around water. Again, another beautiful spot.

Wednesday was Amy's birthday. We spent all day at the National Airforce Museum,

then topped it off with a nice birthday song and some yummy cheesecake homemade by Dan and Sarah.

Wednesday night we went to a park not too far away. The kids (kids meaning adults too) had a great time. Scott and Dan bought some little model planes that they put together and threw around. Then the boys came up with a ball throwing through a hole contest then took turns being the target. You hoped you weren't the one others were mad at for some reason.

Thursday we debated on strapping the kids in for another long car ride to Hirum and Kirtland, OH, but boy were we glad we did. It was such an awesome experience to visit some church history sites. This is the Johnson home where Joseph stayed for some time.

Then we drove to Kirtland and visited the temple and another church owned site where the N.K. Whitney store is. Again, very cool to be where the Prophet Joseph Smith was and received revelations.

Friday, after touring Dan's school, we went to a children's museum. The kids had a blast. There was a room with water (as you can see) and the kids could put rain coats on and play there. The raincoat really wasn't a protectant, Molly was still soaking by the time we left. At least she had a good time.

Bath in the Sink

I'm sure she's not the first kid to play in the sink and then eventually just get a bath in it. She was keeping herself busy while I had to get something done. Next thing I know, she's soaked her clothes. So, off they came and in she went. She loved it. The other day she was playing on the counter and when I turned around she was sitting in the sink (no water this time, thank goodness) saying "bath". I had to laugh pretty hard. She's so much fun these days. Scott and I are loving every minute of it.

Hat Day

So, I've been slacking. These pictures were actually taken about a month ago. Molly just decided to try on hats then sit in her new favorite chair and pose for me. The pictures don't do her justice, she was a lot cutier and funnier.
