Easter

Living by my motto........better late than never. So here are a few pictures from our Easter basket finding. It was fun having Scott's family here for Easter. The Easter Bunny even left baskets for them.

Molly was a little excited to see what she got.

Lovin' the chocolate

Oops, forgot about the gift that couldn't fit in the Easter basket. Lately Molly has LOVED playing doctor with my stethoscope, so we decided to get her very own.

Easter

Nothing like a month late for Easter photos.

Must say.......pretty cute kids

Better Face Expressions

Just a few more facial expressions from the sour lime. Thing is, he wasn't crying at all. These photos were taken about 1/3 of a second a part. Great captures by Mike.

This is when he was coming after Mike....Karate Kid

Mean Parents

We had a lime sitting around and decided to see if Foster liked them. Are we mean?

Happy boy before the taste test

Does that mean he doesn't like it?

So, let's try again.....

What one will do....

O.Kay, so you can't tell how cold it is outside. I had a training run last Saturday and woke up to snow........I didn't feel like running 9 miles on a treadmill so bundled up I got and out I went. It wasn't blizzarding (thank goodness), but the snow was hitting my face making it somewhat difficult to see. After it was all said and done......it really wasn't that bad. It's looking outside and being warm inside that makes for a tough decision. If you look close, you can see snow on my hat. Thank goodness for water resistant coats......I stayed pretty dry for the most part.

The Fos

Just a few pictures of Foster. He's such a good baby. We still love him to pieces. Can't believe how much he's changed in the past few months. If you look close, HE'S GOT HAIR!!!!! He has way more than Molly had at this age........sad huh!

Just too cute to not post. Who wouldn't fall in love with those eyes.

He's been watching me do yoga......Locust pose!

This is what Foster did at the Easter Egg Hunt!

The Hunt

Some friends from church put together an Easter Egg Hunt. It was a bit early, but this was the best time. The weather didn't cooperate, so we held it indoors at the church. It worked great. Molly's cousin Megan, got to participate. I think they had fun.

This is a zoomed in picture. There were quite a few kids there. The blonde behind Molly is her new friend, Kendall. They are about 2 mo apart, but both are ALL girl!

Oops......nothing in the bucket......

Molly and Megan, already eating the goods.

Cousins

The best shot we could get of a 17 month old boy........camera is not fast enough for him.

Molly, Megan, Luke with Megan's only 2 girl cousins

Luke is 100% boy. He even can't figure out how to put a headband on.

New Grandma

While pulling up to Chris's parents house, Molly kept saying....."we're at grandma's house". We tried to explain that it was Megan's grandma.......she didn't care. Shelly is a grandma and that was all that mattered. She must've read the sign in the front flower beds that said, "grandchildren spoiled here." As you can see, Molly and Megan's cousin, Hailey, loved "grandma". Thanks Shelly for being a great grandma to ALL.

For Lisa

My sister-in-law, Lisa's, husband brought their two youngest kids out here to Utah for a week while he had a conference. He's staying with his parents and we got to see them last night and tonight. I thought Lisa might be missing them all so here are a few photos for her. Sorry Lisa, after getting home, I realized we didn't have any great ones of the three of them. We got to celebrate an early 4th birthday with Megan tonight. She made quite the haul for a small gathering.

Yep, grandma was feeding him again......

Green Dinner

I got this yummy drink recipe on-line:

2 c lime sherbet

2 c milk (skim worked fine)

6 oz frozen limeade

Mix together till frothy and pour into glasses.

Add 7-up to fill glass. Add small scoop of lime sherbet and lime for garnish.

Pesto Pasta with Asparagus, red and orange bell peppers. Super yummy!

St. Patrick's Day

This is Molly's new friend Kendall. We had her and her brother Cooper and Molly's cousin Trais and friend Abby come over for cookie decorating and green lunch today. This was the only picture I got. Can you believe it? You'd think I was busy doing other things the whole time. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. We had green applesauce, green grapes, green pears, brown chicken nuggets and red catsup. The moms had green spinach salad with pears, avocados, almonds and craisins. It's always fun to celebrate anything. It was so nice out today that the kids ate outside and decorated their cookies outside (easy clean-up).

Early Celebration

We invited some new friends over for a day early St. Patrick's Day Celebration on Monday. First one gal made up a poem about shamrocks and read it to the kids with her homemade poster and everything. Then they colored and finally finger painted. It was a lot of fun.

6 Months

I thought maybe I should start acting like my second child really isn't my second, neglected child. Foster is 6 months. Seems like he's been with us forever. Sure do love this boy. He's so happy ALL of the time. Well, at least most. He gets a little anxious when he sees food coming his way (spoon or otherwise).

Just a few facts about Foster:
  • Weight: 14lbs even
  • Length: 25.5 inches long
  • Head: 17 cm
  • Immunizations: Check
  • Bedtime: 7:00 p.m. sharp (his choosing)
  • First wake up time: varies, he did sleep through the night twice now
  • Morning wake up time: around 7:30 a.m. and he will just lay there for 30 mins of cooing
  • Loves: Jolly Jumper, Molly, Dad and food (Me)
  • Holds: anything we put in front of him
  • Sits: all on his own
  • Eats: baby food (and can't get enough at times)
  • Features: best smiley eyes

Denver Trip

Scott had been going out to Denver for day trips since we moved here to Utah. I told him he needed a week long training there so we could all go out. He came home and said, "well, they want me to go to Denver for a week training in February". Needless to say, our tickets were booked and we were ALL going out. We had such a fun time visiting friends. Thanks everyone for making us dinner and lunch, having play dates with us, letting us stay at your house all day till Scott got off work, going to the parks with us, and for going out to eat. We miss you all soooo very much and enjoyed the reunion.

One day we went to "Little Monkey Bizness" with friends, Cassidy and Hudson and Courtney and Lindsay. It was perfect for their age groups.

More Denver

Guess Lindsay wasn't too happy at this moment

Picasa hard at work. It was fun they had this room the kids could entertain their creativity. Aprons and all.

Gotchya!

Rock Band

Scott's brothers came in from Rexburg the same weekend as the girl weekend. Guess they didn't want Scott to have to watch chic flick movies all by himself. They had to bring Rock Band to keep some testosterone in the house. We had tons of fun playing it. Come down any time boys but don't forget Rock Band!

Mike on drums, Scott on Lead Guitar, Amy lead singer, and Elisha nailin' Bass

Just a cool shot Scott's brother, Brian, took

So much focus

Girls Weekend

Scott's mom flew in from Vancouver, sister flew in from Georgia, and sister-in-law flew in from Ohio to meet Amy and I here in Utah. It was a great girls weekend. Scott's sister works for QuikCutz Scrapbooking Co. so we had free access to her croproom. Amy and Lisa spent a few more hours in there by themselves, before Mary, Sarah and I joined them. It was a great weekend. Some favorites were:
  • girl movie (Mamma Mia) with comfy p.j's
  • Girls night out -- temple night
  • factory outlet shopping
  • celebrating Sarah's birthday with yummy white chocolate raspberry cheesecake
  • eating chips and salsa
  • watching Scott make mocktails
  • girl talk
  • learning to be creative making cards (thanks Lisa and Amy)
  • having everyone over for Sunday dinner
  • Cafe' Rio lunch --- mmmmmm yum

Valentines Day

We took a few photos of the kids at Valentines Day to send to my mom and grandma. Just thought I'd post em' here too. I can't believe how much they change in just a few short months.

Playing in the Snow

We finally got out to build Molly's first snow man. She wasn't much help but she sure loved it. She actually just ate snow while we build Frosty. (I think she's eating snow again in this picture).

The first one is a bit blury, but I just love the intensity.
