Saturday

Just a few single shots of the marathon. We had great weather for the day.

My #1 fan. Scott was more than supportive of me doing this marathon. He did everything he could to help my back, watched the kids on my long runs, and was just what every marathon with two kids needs. You're the best Scott!

It was fun running a race with people you know. There were a few turn arounds so I could see Becky and Cassidy two different times. It was fun to wave and give high fives.

Here is my #2 fan. My friend Staci, and I would swap kids for exercising. Molly was always encouraging me to go back out and run some more. She knew the routine of getting my shoes on and heading out the door. Some mornings (if I went before Scott left for work) she'd be sitting by our glass weather door waiting for my return. Hopefully she'll be a runner like her mamma!

Seattle Trip -- Friday

So here are a few posts from our trip last week. They won't be in order because I started blogging with our first day. This was Friday. We went downtown to the marathon Expo at Qwest Center. After getting our numbers, we headed to Pikes Market Place. It was a beautiful day.

Beautiful park

Friday still

Pictures are a little washed out, but wanted to post where we were at.

Met up with Cassidy at the Expo then got to hang out part of the day.

Amazing flowers in the market place. They were so pretty and CHEAP!
Gross "thing" they would pull back every once in a while and scare people. Molly was not about to go near this "Thing"

Thursday

Got into Seattle with enough time to eat a yummy pasta dinner prepared so kindly by Scott's aunt and then head to the beach. It was a little chilly, but still nice to be out.

Father's Day!

Here is my tribute to this wonderful guy Molly and Foster call Daddy. They are truly blessed to have him as their dad. He's a great example to me as well as them (they just aren't aware yet)! Scott, we love you and hope you HAD a great Father's Day!

This was our yummy Father's Day dessert. Love any reason to have dessert and try something new. This cake is my new favorite. Maybe I should call it bread. It's a Lemon Yogurt Cake with a drizzle of lemon flavored powdered sugar and water and berries galore!

Kendal's Birthday

Molly was invited to a "Tea Part" Birthday party. It was so cute. The girls had cut out sandwiches, cut out cheese, and watermelon and berries on a kid size skewer (toothpick). After lunch they got their toe and fingernails painted with the color of their choice.

You get the idea!

Molly just ate the candy flowers off the top.

Just Like Mamma

So, we made a Texas Sheet Cake to take to Scott at work the other day. In celebration of Father Day week. She must have seen her mom taste testing and knew exactly what to do.

And he's out

I had scouts here the other morning at our house. We did part of requirement 8 with making a meal and cleaning up. We made pancakes and sausage. It was a lot of fun. Fos was put in his high chair with some bananas. It was so funny to watch him get delirious and then eventually close his eyes and rest his head.

Baptism

My sister-in-law got Baptized last Saturday. We drove out to Beautiful Lander, WY to support her in this. It was a wonderful baptism (as they all are). We are so excited for her and my brother to start on this journey together. Christina, congratulations. We love you and are so happy for you!

Lagoon

Last Thursday, Lagoon had Family Night and our Stake was a part of it. So, we got in the park for free and had we bought passes for all of us, would have gotten $14 off a ticket. However, we just took advantage of getting into the park for free then bought $10 worth of tickets for Molly to ride some kiddie rides. We wanted to see if going to Disney World would be worth it. Yep, it was. She absolutely LOVED Lagoon. I think if she would have been tall enough, she would have tried some scarier rides. She had to hold on to something at all times......even if it was just a seat belt strap. It's so fun as parents to see kids excitement. Disney World, here we come!

Lagoon Continued

You can't go to an amusement park and not ride the carousel, especially when it's free.

Happy Birthday Hudson

Hudson, just wanted to wish you a very special birthday. We miss you sooooooo much. Hope it was a good one. We were so sad we couldn't make it to your birthday party, but hopefully this makes up for missing it a little.

Three Good Buddies

Tis the season for boys. Our family started out with one nephew and 9 nieces. Then there were four boys to add to another five girls. Then three boys were born within 9 months of eachother. I have a feeling we're gonna be on our toes with these three. Their mischievous faces tell all!

Foster Scott -- 9 months

Tipton John -- 3 months

Cal Lewis -- 1.5wks

Grandma Turns 85

My cutest grandma turned 85 on May 30th. So, naturally, we celebrated. She sat up front for people to greet her in the beginning. But then she decided to get up with her walker and greet others as she cruised around the tables and chairs. It was pretty stinkin' cute!

Cute Grandma Jacobs

Little did I know my 85 yr old grandma and I would have the same shirt on. Must say she's got some good taste!

Grandma J and Scottino. This was a great picture of these two.

Just a Huggin'

Molly and her cousin Bella are just 5 wks apart and they are the best of buds......as long as we don't outstay are welcome. They will just hug and hug and remain hugging for me to get the camera and get it all set up. They are too cute!!!!

Cousin, Trais, was pretty cute to stand right in front of the girls while posing. He wanted to be apart of the photo opp. but didn't want the hugging part.

No music, but that didn't stop them from dancing.

It's a Boy

After 4 girls, my sister and her husband finally had a boy. Cal Lewis was born May 18th. We were fortunate enough to go to her baby shower.

Sister Hilda modeling the "hooter hider" I made for her.

Cresta (good friend of my sister, Rachel's) filling in for sister Becky (who couldn't make it), mom, sister-in-law Christina , sister Rachel and baby Cal, me, sister Sarah, sister Jessica with 3 mo old baby Tipton

Proud mamma of her baby boy! Congrats Johnsons. We love him already!

Random

Just sharing a few random posts.

Messy kitchen. Just had gone grocery shopping and was trying to organize our pantry. What a task.....moving these cans forward and those behind...yada yada! Of course, I had great help from Molly!

Morning hair....her pillow does wanders. All of her old toys that I bring out for Foster, Molly thinks are hers again. Little big for this one!

Yes, our little man is crawling. He's been crawling a while now, and boy does he cruise. He doesn't like the hard on his knees so here he is up on all four.
