Day Off

Wednesday we took the day off from going to Parks and just hung out at the pool and hotel rooms. These are the only two photos we got from that day...........what great photographers we are!

Animal Kingdom

Day two was at Animal Kingdom. It was a fun day...so much fun that we must have forgotten to take pictures (these are basically the only ones we took).

Magic Kingdom

When one person mentions they are going somewhere and puts the invitation for everyone to join, we all hop on board. We were so thrilled when Chris and Lisa decided to go to Disney World. It didn't take much convincing for us to figure out a way to be there too. We knew we wanted to go some day and what better time to go than with cousins, aunts and uncles and grandparents. Everyone helped out everyone.

When we purchased our plane tickets, we called Scott's sister Amy to see if she wanted on the same flight. Thank goodness she was there, she was a lot of help with bags and kids. We flew into Daytona Beach and rented a car. We had an expired free upgrade coupon that we thought we'd try and use. The lady helping Scott was nice enough to not even look at the expiration date and gave us a mini van. It worked out perfect. Two kids, three adults, luggage, stroller and car seats take up a lot of room and we were grateful to have the extra space.

We drove the 75 mins to the hotel and were greeted by excited cousins and aunts and uncles. It was so much fun watching all the cousins embrace each other as they have not been together for several months. EVERYONE was picking up EVERYONE!

Scott's parents and brother, Mike got there a little after us and the party officially began. Scott's youngest brother is on his mission and was the only Walton not there.

Monday was up early to head to Magic Kingdom. It always takes a little longer than you expect when you are dealing with 20 people. But, we got there in good time and spent the ENTIRE day at the park. It was so magical to be there and see Molly's excitement.

All the cousins and Princess Jasmine. The princesses all did such a great job at acting the part. It was fun for Molly to see all of them.

I can't remember what she just noticed, but here we are at the main street parade. It was a great way to see all the characters and princesses. Molly loved it!

Olympic Park

Scott and I got vouchers for some stuff at Olympic Park and used them this past Saturday. We heard they had open freestyle jumps and took up our gear to practice some of our jumps for this upcoming season. The water was actually pretty warm and it was 80 degrees that day so both added some niceness to the practice. After jumping we did the Quicksilver slide and Ultra Zipline. It was a fun day and so beautiful with the color changes. Then headed home.

Canning

I suppose this is what living in a house with room enough to store things does to a person. I am officially a "homemaker". I ventured out and joined some friends in canning. We made our own homemade applesauce (7 jars), 25 jars of peaches, 6 containers of freezer jam, 12 jars of jalapeno jelly (you pour over cream cheese and dip chips), and 7 jars of homemade tomato spaghetti sauce. The tomato sauce all came from our garden with the ingredients being tomatoes, green onions, greed peppers, anaheim peppers, and a yellow squash. It was a lot of work, a big mess, but will definitely be worth it come winter. I actually enjoyed doing all of it. They made for long days on my feet, but it was fun developing a new talent (assuming canning is a talent).

Gooooooo Cougars!!!!

Lisa, Thank you Thank you Thank you for Molly's new favorite thing to wear! We got this package in the mail the other day and Molly's eyes lit up when she opened it and saw it was a "BYU COUGAR dress". Wish we got this on video, but pictures will have to do. She was dancing all around the living room and jumping up and down saying, "gooooooo Cougars". She for sure had us laughing! Thanks Chris and Lisa for the official uniform.

Our Little Cougar!

Two of my brothers and one sister-in-law and one ex brother-in-law all biked the 206 miles from Logan to Jackson Hole. Scott and I were my brother Dan's support crew. We left Molly with my mom and grandma and brought Foster with us. He actually did quite well being in and out of the car for 10 hrs. We stayed in Logan Friday night so we could get up at 5 and be at the start by 6. It was a lot of fun to be a part of a race like that. What I liked best was that I didn't have to ride a bike. I just rode in a nice comfy car with my legs relaxing. They all did great and accomplished quite the task. Way to go kids! You are all AMAZING!

When Scott and I drove home, we drove about half way back on the course. While driving, I realized we were going down down down. That means they rode up up up! It was quite the long, grueling, never-ending hill climb.

Early morning......Fos was getting pretty sleepy by the time they all started. He's quite the little trooper!

First Day of Pre Preschool

A few other moms (7 of us total) decided to get together and do a neighborhood preschool for our kids. It's not only a great intro to them with socializing and structured learning, it's a great break for the moms. Course, really, 2 hours flies by. Molly is really excited to go and I'm excited for her to do this sort of thing. I look forward to my first teaching too. We all know some days the kids are just going to wanna play, and that will be fine, but it's fun for us to come up with lesson plans.

We went really cheap on the backpack for this first year. A few weeks ago she found her free Dr. Seuss backpack she got when we ordered a few cheap books. She'd been wearing it around and really likes it. So, I decided to let that be her bag. It fits her just perfect and we didn't have to fork out any $$ for a new bag she will not like next year. Go us!!

Birthday GIRL!

Just a few pictures of our little 3 YEAR old. Can't believe she is already 3.....I know I know.....seems like yesterday she was born and that's what everyone says. She is quite the little girl. I think on her birthday she developed this little 3 yr old sassyness. I don't know how they know how they need to act, but they do. She does bring so much joy and laughter into our home. We love this little angel so very much!

This is exactly Molly. She wears this dress and two others DAILY! And watches this new movie at least once a week.

Her are Molly's friends that came to her birthday party. I made aprons for each child, we played bingo, colored and they made their very own style of pizza. I made the dough before they all got there, donned on their aprons then let them roll it, then we baked it a little, then spread sauce (if wanted) and cheese, then tossed them back in the oven to melt the cheese. I think they had a good time and they all did pretty good eating. It was a lot of fun to have a friends party.

Molly was center of attention quite a few times this year. We had the family party, a party with her friends during the day, party with mom, dad and Foster that night and when Grandma and Grandpa Walton came into town, she got another little party (if opening presents can be considered a party). She enjoyed every minute of it.

Birthday breakfast (I often have to put candles in her pancakes still........what did I start?) Notice the cookie next to her pancakes. She asked for it and growing up, our birthdays we could do what we wanted........guess Molly will get whatever she wants all day one day of the year. Fos got a cookie too!

Birthday dessert with friends was icecream sandwiches lined up on the bottom of a pan with whipped topping then fudge sauce on top of that. YUMMY! I like the position of her hands.....oh so dainty.

One of Molly's favorite birthday presents.......princess dolls of course. She has turned into quite the little princess lover!

Birthday dinner request (well part of it). Noodles and sauce, jell-o and grilled chicken. The grilled chicken was my idea.

Dessert with just the family was icecream cone.

Another movie......another favorite. For a while there she was watching it daily. She only gets one movie a day and this is what she chooses most of the time. And she has to wear her Aurora dress.

She must be excited. I don't think she even knew what it was, but boy did it have some fun colors and letters. We got her a Leap Frog computer thing you hook up to the T.V. The mouse is working so great so we're going to try and take it back and get just a little lap top thing. The hooking it up to the T.V. is not what we had in mind.

Molly got this Sleeping Beauty musical card from Grandma and Grandpa Walton and LOVES it. She loves to open it and dance ALL around the room. She also got a coloring book, a fairy book and a shirt from them. It was fun to have them here so close to her birthday!
