Primary Talent Show

One afternoon I got a call from a member of the Primary Presidency informing me they were having a talent show in two weeks and Molly signed up to do a dance. I couldn't hold it in and started laughing. When did she learn to dance? I told her we would come up with something.
So, I talked to Molly about it and she showed me what dance she would be performing. She twirled once with her hands high above her head then stuck out one leg. And said that was her dance. So, every day we talked about what she wanted to do......it was still "dance". So the night of the show, we downloaded an Ariel song and headed to the church. Our CD would not work on the CD players when Molly's turn came up. As we were trying to get it figured out, Molly just stood up there in front of everyone (not smiling) patiently waiting. Thank goodness somebody had Princess and the Pauper CD, so we turned on a song and she did "her dance" to that. It lasted all of 20 seconds. We still yet have to download the video clip of that, but it will be coming soon. Here are just a few pictures of the night.

Here Molly's agent is on the phone getting her her next performance.

Family Home Evening Treats

Just randome shots......Molly was helping Scott make our FHE treat. Yum Yum Caramel Popcorn.

They make a great team.....it was quite tasty!

Master Piece!

This is a bragging about my husband post. I am quite amazed at his talents. I thought the chair he made for Molly was impressive, then the bed, and now this! He said he had an idea of what he wanted for our T.V. stand. And since we had just gotten a new T.V., we needed a taller stand to keep little fingers off the screen. So, he drew up the plans in his head, then on paper, then on a computer and got to work.

The back

The front

Notice it takes up most of garage, so we both got to park outside!

The crown molding is in place

And stained......pretty cool, if you ask me

And the handsome creator with his fantastic finished product! If it didn't take so long, I'd tell him to go into business making furniture!

In the corner

All set up. Isn't he amazing? He's quite handy to keep around. I think I'll keep him !

Tuckered Out

One day is got awfully quiet, so I went upstairs to find this. Does it make me a bad mom to immediately get the camera instead of get him into a bed?

He even read himself a book before falling asleep on it.

Sunday Morning

We had a couple minutes before church this morning, so I we took a few pictures.
(We are still working on some of their poses and smiles).

Foster's Bump

Foster became acquainted with a corner in his room not too long ago. This bump appeared quickly, but didn't stick around long.

Snow Days

We had a couple good snows while family was here. We wished we had a hill for the kids to sled down in our backyard, but building snow caves is just as fun right? It was so cute how the kids built this right around the tree.

Girls Night Out

My sister, Jessica's, husband was so nice to offer he and Scott's babysitting services for the girls to go out. We are missing just once sister, Sarah. My niece, Kennedy, is finally getting at that age where she can be inlcuded in the "adult" stuff. We had a lot of fun. Dinner then a movie. Thanks Brik and Scott.

After Christmas

Computer and downloading are working much better today.
So, just a few more pictures of activities we did while everyone was here for Christmas. We had such an enjoyable time and were so glad most everyone could be here. I love hosting and throwing parties so this was right up my alley.
Grandma, Emmy and Molly

Grandma's turn to be pulled up the hill

Molly gave up and decided to wanted to ride too.

Even the big "kids" enjoyed the little hill. Uncle Dan

.....and Holley

Dallie before the concussion. The snow wasn't the best, but the kids really wanted to go. It was kinda icy in spots and poor Dallie hit that spot hard. That night she was not well. Nausea and vomiting and drowsy. The next morning she was much better and wanted to go again!

Rachel
Swimming was another day. It's nice having an indoor pool close by. I just don't know how kids can swim forever. I was freezing cold by 10 mins.

Christmas Day!

So, I've been sitting here almost 2 hrs trying to upload some pics......it's not letting me do it the way I want to. So, this is what you get....in three's. My sister in law said to me the other day.... "I'm still waiting to see what happens after Christmas Eve". Yes, I have been a slacker. So here are a few pictures of Christmas Day.

The line-up

Breakfast of champions.....mmm kit kat

The aftermath

Molly got an easel from Santa

so excited for movies

This was a hit. She loves princesses and anything to do with princesses.

Some of my favorite things......running clothes. My husband knows me well

Sorry about the poser in the back. She was getting ready to put some dress ups on. Scott was soooo excited for this saw blade. As you can see from his expression.

Starting the dress ups with their new towels, Princess for Molly, how appropriate.

Scott's mom made/bought this outfit. This was Molly in Moroco at Disneyworld.

Fashion show

Foster's favorite gifts......the tools. He played for hours with these things. It is so cute he has such a built in love for these things......just like his daddy
