We had a fun 4th of July. We didn't have any babysitters for an early morning 5k this year, so we opted out of that one......(Scott was not too sad). We did get up and head to our saved parade spots. We did this last year and the kids had a blast. It actually turned out to be great weather for a parade. A little overcast with light sprinkles at the very end. The kids always enjoy getting tons of candy. This year, I got a t-shirt and Scott got a tie. Not too bad! We went with a few other friends and their families which made it that much more fun! We didn't get a ton of pictures. Sometimes we have a hard time remembering to snap shots. Later that afternoon we headed up to Heber to some friends house for a BBQ, firework truck contest, and real city fireworks. It was a great 4th. So blessed to live in this free country and enjoy the freedoms we enjoy! "The flag still stands for Freedom......."
