Camping

We managed to take the kids camping at least once this summer. It's always on our summer to-do list and we don't always get it checked off. We made it real simple, went for one night, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows for dinner, then had bagels and fruit for breakfast. I didn't want to have to cook and clean for such a short trip. We didn't get up there till almost 6 p.m. so there wasn't a whole lot of time to do much. We did go on a little walk down by the stream and Scott made a little scavenger hunt for "treasure" (Foster's trucks we brought for him to play with in the dirt). The kids enjoyed it and we hope to do it more often every summer!
